Activities Letter
On Saturday, February 13th, the KY Llama & Alpaca Association met for the first meeting of the year. Many plans were made for the upcoming months. These activities will keep us busy, but are designed to showcase our farms and market our animals. Please plan to participate.

President's Letter - November, 2009
The North American Llama & Alpaca Show was again very successful under the leadership of Mary Jo Miller. We are blessed to have a capable member to be superintendent of our show. We had approximately 225 animals for 12 states participate. There were many new exhibitors which is very positive for our show. Thank each of you that so graciously volunteered to help make this an outstanding show.

President's Letter - September 2009
Our May KLAA meeting was hosted by Melinda & Larry Whitehead at their beautiful lake side farm. The weather was good, the food was great, and a good time was had by all. You missed a fine time if you didn't attend.

February 2008, President's Letter
I hate to start a letter on a down note, however, we are all saddened by the loss of a fellow KLAA Member, Charles Wright, of Corinth, KY. Charles lost his life in a fatal auto accident on January 28, 2008. He is deeply missed by his wife, Pat and son Glen and of course by all their llamas. Charles and Pat attended several KLAA events in 2007 and will be missed by all of us at KLAA. We hope Pat will be able to continue on with the llamas and be a part of KLAA.
