State Fair
Plans are being made for the KLAA Animal Display Booth for the upcoming State Fair. We need volunteers to man this booth as well as bring an alpaca or llama for public viewing. The booth is open the full 10 days of the fair. Our booth needs to be open from approximately 9am - 5pm each day. The main purpose of this booth at the fair is to promote our KLAA Organization and to help expand the awareness of llamas and alpacas.
If you woul like to be part of this event, please contact Donna Keith at 859-234-2598 or email gfllamas@setel.com. The people working the booth will have the option of bringing their animals for display while they are manning the booth. Remember the animals need a health certificate. Linda Ison has again volunteered to get sod for the booth and also, bring animals when others are not available.
Literature for the KLAA table will be limited to KLAA handouts, member business cards, and or farm brochures. If you would like your cards displayed, please provide a supply and get them to Donna. The fair dates are August 20-30, 2009.
