We will have ALSA sanctioned llama & alpaca walking fiber classes.
Facality information; 8 bay covered wash area, large horse stalls with built in hay racks (can be extended in front with portable panels), no "after show clean up" of stalls, lots of walking and grazing area, consession stand, RV parking available with full hook ups at $15 a night.
Show information; KLAA will be advertising the show to the general public in 70 newspapers across Kentucky, Gerald Crowe, a shearer with 30 years experience, will be giving "show cuts" to llamas & alpacas for $15 each, silent auction (donations welcome), spinning & weaving demonstrations encouraged, bring your spinning wheel, industry related information on display, market your llamas & alpacas and industry related products off your farm at the show, judges will give detailed comments on their placement, free "first come" farm information booth space in the arena area (as space allows).
We have three vendors commited to the show, tack (great "show price" on adjustable llama & alpaca halters), llama & alpaca metal art and a stall panel manufacturer. If you wish a free vendor booth contact Charlotte Beaudin, 502-857-9100, dbeaudin14@hotmail.com
